O.K., a lot of other people in my generation missed it too, but still, it was one of the greatest concerts in the history of the world....during my youth. Here are some of the reasons it was awesome:
My sincere apologies to Paul Allen, but never liked Jimi Hendrix. I have the 4 cd collection of all the woodstock songs, and just skip over them. I do like Richie Havens.

I prefer Stevie Ray Vaughan to Jimi Hendrix but he was sure an interesting character! I have the Woodstock DVD and watch it from time to time when feeling nostalgic. I wish I'd been there too. Good times.
